APHOTIC is a curated collection of my favorite haiku written from when I first started dabbling in the art to february 2023. I discovered my interest in haiku during the coronavirus lockdowns, as it gave me a creative outlet to express the deeper, more nuanced aspects of my perception.
I've found that the strict limitations of haiku have helped me become a better writer. Having boundaries has forced me to focus my thoughts and write more deliberately. APHOTIC is the result of my love for haiku and the new perspectives it's given me.
