Greetings from the Fatherland is a continual passion project of mine, honoring my Armenian roots. As a first-generation American, this project holds great personal significance for me: it serves as a tribute to the generations of ancestors who left their homes and began anew, while also paying homage to their heritage.
The objective of this project, extends beyond my own familial roots. I am eager to expand the collection by incorporating postcards from the ancestral homes of my close friends, thereby celebrating our collective cultural heritage together.
My aspiration for this endeavor is not solely to recognize my roots, but also to enhance my own connection to my heritage. These elements have imbued every facet of my life, and through the creation of these postcards, I am afforded a tangible means of exploration.  I plan to include postcards from additional nations, such as Iran, Lebanon, and Egypt, which served as refuges for my family and many others during the Armenian genocide.
Greetings from the Fatherland is a profoundly personal endeavor that I am excited to expand. It is my hope that by sharing this collection with others, I can inspire a deeper appreciation for the richness of Armenian culture and the diasporas that have emerged from it.
Mount Ararat's traditional Armenian name is "Masis", of which my father was named. This is my homage to his namesake, the final resting place for Noah's Arc.

My maternal grandmother, Agnesa, is from the Syunik province of Armenia, which is home of Tatev Monastery. Nestled in the mountains of Armenia, Tatev Monastery is a sigh to be seen via the Wings of Tatev, the world's longest reversible aerial tramway.

My maternal grandfather was born in Yerevan, Armenia's capital, but moved to Tbilisi, Georgia in his toddler years. Tbilisi was his home until his early 20's, where he returned back to Yerevan.
